University of Hertfordshire, Bayforbury

We now have an enthusiastic agreement from the University of Hertfordshire allowing us to establish our amateur radio observatory at their Bayfordbury Observatory site.

Set in beautiful rolling Hertfordshire countryside, we could not ask for a better location for our charitable company to pursue its mission to encourage and inspire young people to pursue STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) subjects and careers.

Rural Cambridgeshire

Thanks to the kind generosity of a local cambridgeshire farmer EAARO can contine with its plans to participate in the KickSat project on a new site in rural cambridgeshire.

Features of the site include stunning unobstructed views across the East, West, and to the South. Dark skies and minimal Radio Frequency Interference.

This is a secure site so the exact location cannot be given.

Observatory construnction began in October 2013
